Soul and jazz inspired samples combine with nothing short of lyrical Kung Fu to give The Lower Class a sound reminiscent of hip-hop’s Golden Age. The trio’s fresh and laid back style, have indie blogs abuzz- comparing their sound to the likes of De La Soul, A Tribe Called Quest, and Jurassic 5.

The Lower Class - “Extraneous”
dir. KartuneSeems like everyone is coming through with the heat in the last few days of 2012. Here is the extremely well-executed and artful music video for the track “Extraneous” by BluRoc/DD172’s latest signed act, Texas hip hop group The Lower Class. The video was animated by The Lower Class’ own, Kartune. TLC’s recent release Wingfield will be re-mastered and re-packaged through BluRoc with added on features by BluRoc’s own McKenzie Eddy.
